Ring Forged From A Nail : Ground Finish
These were the first thing I ever taught myself how to make. They are forged from regular old nails. I start by flattening the nail, bending it around the horn of my anvil (using my precision calibrated balls of the eye). When it is about ¾ of the way bent into a ring, I cut off the head and the tip, chamfer the corners, and finish bending it to round. This style has been ground for a flat surface.
These rings imaged might not be the most round and might fit slightly loose. If you are interested but want a different size, material, finish etc. please reach out to me and we can sort something out.
